Men's basketball fall 59-63 to Caldwell College

The Rangers fell to Caldwell College 59-63 in their season opener Wednesday night in Denver.
The Rangers were either tied or ahead until the 13:43 mark when Caldwell took the lead on a layup by Jason Wilson. The Cougars led the rest of the half.
Regis did not take the lead again until there were just nine minutes and 43 seconds left in the game when junior Matt Rosinski scored to put the Rangers up by one with the score 45-44. Regis held that lead until the 7:48 mark when Caldwell went ahead and led the rest of the game.
Junior Bill Brandenburg led the Rangers in total points with 15 while juniors Joseph Odugbela and Jason Burke-Kavros had 13 and 10 respectively. Senior Andy Pokorny registered six assists in the game.
The Rangers will face Colorado College on Nov. 25 at 7:00 p.m. in the Ranger Dome.
